Pastor Tony Scheer

Rev. Tony Scheer graduated from Colorado Christian University with a bachelor's degree in Organizational Management and Human Resources. He graduated from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa in 2000, and earned his Masters in Divinity.

In the summer of 2000, he was called to Southern Illinois and accepted a call to be Pastor at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon. In July of 2000, Tony was ordained through the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America to serve in Mount Vernon.

Tony was extended a new call in October of 2003 to First Lutheran Church, in Redlands, California, where he served as the Associate Pastor specializing in Youth and Family ministry. In September 2007 Pastor Tony accepted the call as Head of Staff and Senior Pastor to St Olaf Lutheran Church in Garden Grove, CA.

Tony and his spouse, Carol, have two daughters. Kirstin is a Senior High School student at East Valley High School in Redlands. Kari is their 13 year old attending 7th grade in Garden Grove. Carol is presently working as a Computer Analyst and data research programmer at the University of Redlands.
